Sometimes a project is what I need to kickstart the creative process. For me that project this year is 52 Rolls (http://52rolls.net/). The premise is simple enough – shoot film every week for a full year. The interpretation, content, film type are all open to the shooter. I chose to shoot Black & White images for the most part (the one exception being my trip to New York, where I didn’t bring a film camera and shot instant Fuji instead). Here is the first image shot, a 4×5 sheet in my backyard. Shot on Ilford Delta 100 film, developed in DD-X 1+7 and scanned with an Epson Perfection V700.
I’m looking forward to the year, and hope my creative juices, film and chemistry don’t run out ;).
